Steel casting ladle concepts

BACK TO HOME

In modern steel production, the steel casting ladle has continued to develop over the course of time from a pure transportation vessel into a metallurgical reactor. Accordingly, the demands placed on the linings and the functional ceramics have also increased. Some users currently operate ladles which for the most part are equipped with high-grade fused magnesite bricks.
AMC-grades have proven to be expedient for the impact areas.
In order to optimise the performance and cost of steel casting ladles, overall concepts are vital and are developed in close cooperation with our customers. We provide optimised solutions ranging from stainless steel production, special steels right through to integrated metallurgical plants.

All of the functional ceramics associated with the steel casting ladle, such as purging and nozzle systems, are produced with the highest level of quality at our Dortmund plant.
