Since 2002, Refratechnik Steel has been manufacturing their REFRALINE^® prefabricated, flow control, and gas purging products in their own factory in Dortmund. The rapid expansion of these applications forced Refratechnik to expand production in this area, which meant searching for a new site.

In September 2011, the new production plant in Dülmen, North Rhine-Westphalia, was commissioned, which will meet the increased demands placed on technology, product range, production capacities, and environmental compatibility. The highly automated plant permits innovative functional components to be produced with uniform high quality. For this, all the structures required for production were also designed and assessed according to ecological aspects.
