In 2001, the Refratechnik Group took over a plant in Bendorf for the production of unshaped refractory materials. The plant has been continuously modernized since then. After the new Management and Research & Development building was opened in 2006, Bendorf became the home base for new developments and innovations in the field of unshaped products, and has also become the center for training courses and workshops.
With an annual capacity of more than 30.000 tons, the Bendorf plant manufactures unshaped products for industrial applications worldwide.
